Over two fabulous days this week I was so fortunate to attend the InsideOut workshop presented by Jenny Sun. I’ve been so inspired by Jenny’s wedding photography for some time now and aspire to her subtle, romantic style. I love seeing her posts pop up on Facebook and am endlessly checking out her blog. So naturally I jumped at the opportunity to attend her only Sydney workshop for 2013!

Jenny, besides being an AMAZING wedding photographer is an incredible businesswoman and such a genuine, lovely person. She started out solo in her wedding photography business which has grown to include a great team with international recognition.

Jenny setup a stunning learning environment for us that was so cozy and made everyone instantly feel at home and at ease. She was so gracious and down to earth with the delivery of her workshop and so generous in openly sharing her photography journey from her greatest challenges to the turning points that led to her ultimate triumphs. Every milestone had an important lesson and I am so grateful for her sharing her wisdom.

I can honestly say that through Jenny’s practical training on day one, my work improved IMMEDIATELY when looking at the results of the workshop shoot. I also took away so much from her business lessons and am feeling so excited to apply my new found knowledge into my own business.

The experience was also a brilliant opportunity to meet like-minded photographers and I really enjoyed getting to know some amazing new peers!

Thank you Jenny for a wonderful experience that has captivated all of my senses and inspired me to continue following my dreams!

A big thank you out to Vivian and Peter who were our models for the workshop shoot, you guys were great and I hope you love all the photos!

Lastly, Jenny also had an amazing group of vendors who made the workshop run effortlessly. All credit to you all and thanks so much!

We met this gorgeous duo Anna and Kieran through our previous couple Carly and Trent. We were over the moon to do their engagement shoot and had such an enjoyable spring afternoon with them.

I absolutely ADORE the love that these two have for each other. Their engagement shoot was set at Busbys Pond in Centennial Park, Sydney where Anna and Kieran began their shoot with whimsy, mastering these comical caricatures with such confidence. They were so in tune with each other it was beautiful, no sooner had “the arms” struck a pose “the face” responded with the perfect reaction. It demonstrated such a close bond between them and shows how they are truly made to be together. This set the mood for a fun shoot, where Anna and Kieran’s love for each other shone through from the head to finger tips to toes.

Anna’s reaction to their photos was priceless. As we flicked through the shots, she had a smile from ear to ear and at times she even responded with a giggle. There is such an innocence to the love that these high school sweethearts share which is so unique, I’m positive that they will treasure it and hold onto it forever.
