Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Corinthians 13:4
These words are spoken at so many a wedding ceremony and express the epitome of love. At the wedding of Sarah and Alex, all who were present witnessed the epitome of these words. On the outside, they are a stunningly beautiful couple and equally as brilliant they radiate such honesty and adoration from the inside. This is felt by each and every person in their presence.
Sarah and Alex’s love is genuine, pure and oozes a comforting sense of belonging to each other. It was such a blessing to witness the magic of their special day, their love touched my heart and I wish them all the very best for their future together.
I love EVERYTHING about this engagement shoot!
Sarah and Alex were so much fun, they brought along their playful spirits, their passion for music and their love for each other. Finally the sun was shining again and it was a perfect recipe for a great afternoon. They are such a beautiful couple and I am so excited for their big day to come around!
To witness the marriage of Tamara and Nick was such an honour, they are two beautiful souls; so gracious and humble in the way they live their everyday lives.
Both Tamara and Nick are greatly involved in the Wildstreet church; they are amazing role models to the youth and leaders of the future in their community.
While the heavens opened up on the day, the rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit! A joyful occasion, the couple were celebrated together with their tight knit community and it was wonderful to see them in the spotlight. There was a genuine energy of praise for Tamara and Nick; all lives have been touched by their generosity and kindness.
We were so lucky to be a part of their day, they will be a force to be reckoned with and we wish them all the very best in their future together!
The union of Zoe and Jai had been in the planning for quite some time and was destine to be a very special event and one to remember!
Nestled in the stunning countryside of Ebenezer, they braved the wet weather making the call to stick with plan A, a sentimental ceremony in the grounds of Tizzana Winery where Zoe’s parents had also married years before them. The rain subsided and literally moments before the beautiful bride made her entrance, the clouds parted, the sun shone down and it was magical!
Like their personalities, Zoe and Jai’s wedding was vibrant, lively, bursting with emotion and infectious energy. This energy could be felt throughout the whole congregation, obvious that the love shared between the couple extended to their family and friends who were so smitten with their union. Many a tear was shed, from the sincerity of every word that was delivered to tears of joy and laughter.
With so much love in your lives Zoe and Jai, you can’t go wrong! Wishing you all the very best in your future together.
Over two fabulous days this week I was so fortunate to attend the InsideOut workshop presented by Jenny Sun. I’ve been so inspired by Jenny’s wedding photography for some time now and aspire to her subtle, romantic style. I love seeing her posts pop up on Facebook and am endlessly checking out her blog. So naturally I jumped at the opportunity to attend her only Sydney workshop for 2013!
Jenny, besides being an AMAZING wedding photographer is an incredible businesswoman and such a genuine, lovely person. She started out solo in her wedding photography business which has grown to include a great team with international recognition.
Jenny setup a stunning learning environment for us that was so cozy and made everyone instantly feel at home and at ease. She was so gracious and down to earth with the delivery of her workshop and so generous in openly sharing her photography journey from her greatest challenges to the turning points that led to her ultimate triumphs. Every milestone had an important lesson and I am so grateful for her sharing her wisdom.
I can honestly say that through Jenny’s practical training on day one, my work improved IMMEDIATELY when looking at the results of the workshop shoot. I also took away so much from her business lessons and am feeling so excited to apply my new found knowledge into my own business.
The experience was also a brilliant opportunity to meet like-minded photographers and I really enjoyed getting to know some amazing new peers!
Thank you Jenny for a wonderful experience that has captivated all of my senses and inspired me to continue following my dreams!
A big thank you out to Vivian and Peter who were our models for the workshop shoot, you guys were great and I hope you love all the photos!
Lastly, Jenny also had an amazing group of vendors who made the workshop run effortlessly. All credit to you all and thanks so much!
Now this is a fun story! The majestic city of Sydney holds significance in the hearts of this gentle couple, Vivian and Milton as it was the place where their journey began together.
It was quite the coincidental beginning where several years ago they both moved here independently from Hong Kong for university only to meet and fall in love during their studies. Who was to know that it would take moving half way around the world only to meet the love of their life from the exact same city! Life (and love) works in mysterious ways!
They have since returned to Hong Kong to live and I was thrilled when they approached me to take their formal wedding photos here in the iconic setting of The Rocks in Sydney for which they especially made the long journey. Vivian and Milton, I wish you all the very best in your future together and I hope that Sydney will always hold a special place in your hearts!
My husband and I have just returned from our first of hopefully many trips to the USA and we had a blast!
I thought I’d share a few of my happy snaps from the trip including Los Angeles (Santa Monica beach and Hollywood), San Francisco (Golden Gate bridge) and various cityscapes and icons from my new absolute favourite city, New York! It was so exciting to see this amazing city from so many different vantage points from roof-top gardens to sailing down the river and just wandering through the ever transitioning streets. Stunning!
Now that we’re back, I’m super inspired and excited to get stuck into all of the upcoming engagement and wedding shoots. I promise there are lots of fun posts to come!
The occasion finally arrived for Anna and Kieran to leave behind the days of a long distance relationship and begin a new chapter, with a new life, in a new home, together. After first photographing the milestone of their engagement, we were thrilled to be able to continue on Anna and Kieran’s journey, capturing their beautiful wedding on one of Sydney’s gloriously sunny winter days. Their ceremony was held at their local church in Maroubra and their reception at Sydney Uni.
Anna was a stunningly graceful bride and her love for Kieran shone through the smile she held from ear to ear from the very moment their eyes met. It was obvious that her proud groom Kieran was equally as in love, in the sincerity of his vows anyone can tell that this love will last forever.
Together Anna and Kieran make the sweetest of couples, we were so honoured to be a part of their day and we wish them all the very best that life can bring in their future together.
